- Drink water. Many people don't realize how many calories are actually in the things they drink. Lets take a regular soda for example. A 12 oz bottle of coke has 140 calories, 39 carbohydrates, and 0 protein. Do you realize that is more then a piece of bread has.
- Try to achieve more the 10,000 steps a day. 10,000 steps is considered average so if you aim for more it will benefit your activity level. Almost every smart phone has a built in pedometers and lets face it we have our phone with us all the time anyway.
- Try to eat things that have more protein then carbohydrates. Yes this means that you will have to read the labels more.
- Drink a cup of water right when you wake up to get your immune system up and running. Also before you eat a meal to help you not over eat.
- If you get hungry late at night make a nice hot cup of tea or even warm mike. It will not only curve your hunger but also help you sleep.
- Less weight more reps when weightlifting.
